Objective C/C#/ASP.NET Programmer
Gilson Software Solutions is in search of a C#/ASP.NET Programmer with 2 years programming experience to join our programming team in our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office.

This is an excellent opportunity to help grow our programming team and offers an environment that promotes learning new technologies. Experience in Objective C, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, CSS, XML, AJAX, Object-Oriented design, Web Services, T-SQL, Cross-browser compatibility, Reporting.

Job Purpose:
Serves clients by developing, testing, implementing, documenting, and upgrading C# applications.

Duties:
Accomplishes objective C, C# projects by determining project objectives; calculating resources required; developing time and cost estimates; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction; completing audits.

Defines application issues by conferring with clients; evaluating conditions; determining needs; specifying requirements; conducting feasibility studies and supportability reviews.
Develops objective C, C# technical solutions by developing process models, tables, charts, and logic diagrams; completing requirements analyses; preparing and evaluating alternative solutions; planning systems integration; developing specifications; adhering to industry best practices and internal standards and procedures.

Implements objective C, C# technical solutions by writing code; installing system software, compilers, utility programs, etc.; establishing integrations; conducting performance tuning, code reviews, and configuration management; isolating and correcting problems.

Validates results by creating test scripting routines; debugging code; identifying and resolving faults.

Maintains results by establishing and maintaining system development standards documentation, application notes, and software libraries; and updating the Companies Web-based Software Tracking System.

Reduces costs and increases serviceability by developing reusable applications and test routines.

Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging objective C, C# and .net technologies; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments as assigned by the Companies Web-based Software Tracking System.

Technical Writer – Documentation
Gilson Software Solutions is in search of a Technical Writer with excellent verbal communication and documentation skills to join our development team. This is an excellent opportunity to help grow our development team and offers an environment that promotes learning new technologies.

Job Purpose:
Supports our end-users by analyzing information requirements, writing and upgrading product documentation and business analysis projects.

Duties:
Understands documentation requirements by conferring with end users, software developers and programmers; studying product and requirements.

Develops writing strategy by identifying systems aspects that need documentation; evaluating customer research.

Develops writing plan by establishing standards, priorities, sequences, and schedules.

Prepares documentation by converting technical descriptions from the Company’s Change Request System into user-understandable language.

Confirms documentation by forming tests groups, observing product use and interviewing users.

Improves documentation by evaluating frequently asked questions and interviewing help desk and technical support specialists and users and converting information to the FAQ tool.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
